People are having fun in Victoria Park; walking the dog, strolling along the many pathways, building a cubby, looking for tiny orchids, listening to the bird calls and trying to locate the birds.
‘Cos I’m a plants person my pics mostly feature the plants in the park. This album shows the sugar gum Eucalyptus cladocalyx in flower, the seedpods of a wattle, Acacia halliana (sp?) and the sea box (Alyxia buxifolia) full of berries. What about this gorgeous butterfly sunning itself on a dead shrub? I think it’s a dainty swallowtail. Please correct me if I’m wrong on any of these names etc.
